A History of Dreams

Throughout its time our church has envisioned, work towards, and fulfilled many dreams. It is our prayer that we will continue to do so. These are some of our dreams that have come true:

-1874 Church started the first High School in the area

-1952 Our church built its educational building, providing additional space and Sunday School rooms, a large library, new Steeple, and church bells.

-1992 Our church finished its Family Life Center, providing a stage, classroom, kitchen, and gymnasium.

A History of Missions

Throughout its history, Missions has always been a central part of our church. Our churches history, as well as its future plans and dreams are scattered with different mission ministries, trips and projects.

1847- Our church planted White Oak Baptist Church

1891- Our Church planted Roseboro Baptist Church

2003- Our church adopted its new mission statement of "Going into all the world..." and began the practice of mission trips. These include both national and international trips. We also began our bi-annual routine of participating in Operation Inasmuch.

2004- A new bus was purchased to use on trips, and a new trailor was purchased to use for Disaster recover/relief projects.
